Key functionalities of our search solutions:

• Indexing of selected information resources (both websites and MS Office, pdf, txt, and rtf files, as well as 12 other file types from various sources)
  
• Finding required documents in a fast and precise way

• Inflexion support for Polish and many other languages, e.g. English, German, Norwegian
  
• Option to omit documents meeting certain criteria during the search process

• Searching in selected contexts, e.g. only in titles or keywords
• The query syntax includes the following options:
  • using Boolean operators – “OR”, “NOT” and “AND”. By default, words (or phrases) are linked with „AND”
    
  • phrase searching – a query in quotes is regarded as a phrase
    
  • searching in selected contexts (one or more at the same time) – options: “url:”; “keywords:”; “description:”; “title:”
  • searching within previous search results – by using the “|” operator one can specify the original query and search only the previous results
• Search result sorting according to accuracy or a given numerical parameter, including dates
  
• Mixed ranking, e.g. taking into account the accuracy of the document and its "age" (the newer the document with a similar match, the higher in the results it appears)
  
• Searching by period, e.g. from a certain date to a certain date
  
• Search results are presented by means of templates (available templates include HTML and XML)
  
• Support for queries containing spelling mistakes by means of the Misspelling module
  
• Search results can be divided into categories and include information about the number of documents found in each of the categories.
