NetSprint implements the nsContext platform at Edda Media from Norway

NetSprint has completed another foreign implementation of its proprietary adserver solution. The nsContext platform has been launched at AdPower (www.adpower.no), the Norwegian advertising network managed by Edda Media AS, a leading media company from Norway.
The solution, customized to Norwegian language characteristic, is based on the proprietary nsContext platform. It has been developed by NetSprint based on many years of experience gained while developing Adkontekst, the largest Polish contextual advertising network. The project conducted in Norway is already the fourth implementation of the platform outside of Poland. In the past, it was introduced in Denmark, Lithuania and Latvia. The platform has been tested as of early May and launched commercially on August 17. The start of the network was combined with a start of the www.adpower.no website.
Edda Media AS (former Orkla Media), the company managing AdPower, owns dozens of printed magazines, online portals and radio & TV stations across Scandinavia. It is estimated that the Pay-per-Click advertising market in Norway will reach about NOK 1.3 billion (over EUR 150 million) in 2009, 30% of which will be spent by advertisers in the contextual networks. “We have two goals with our partner,” says Artur Banach, CEO of NetSprint.pl. “First of all, we want to obtain a strong position in the Norwegian contextual advertising market. The second goal is to increase Edda Media’s revenues per each 1000 page views at their websites.”
The nsContext solution developed for AdPower allows publishers to manage the sale and display of various formats of contextual ads on their own and partners’ websites. nsContext helps manage the inventory by providing precise statistics of impressions and clicks, regular support of consultants and continued upgrades of the adserver to adjust it to the individual needs of customers.
Due to the fact, that websites owned by Edda Media have good penetration among local communities, the solution has been expanded with features to manage, sell and precisely target ads to individual regions.
nsContext is a solution for large on-line publishers who want to provide their customers with advertising products contextually related to the content on page. The solution is offered in more than ten of the most popular language editions.
